About Mrs. D

I am currently in the secondary MAT program at UAS, and will be teaching English and History at Thundermountain High School.  I come from a long history of instruction, guiding and experiential education.  Spending many years in Alaska's back-country and Antarctica's waterways.  After a few year hiatus to raise my son, I am excited to return to learning and teaching.  I have a deep love for literature, poetry, current affairs and everything history.  I believe deeply in learning by doing and learning with joy.
